Baden, 24.08.2006 --- Early October 2006 sees Casino Baden once again transformed into a real Poker stronghold, when the casino plays host to two top-level international Poker tournaments and Poker stars from all over the world gather for a week of bluffing, raising and calling.

Poker fever will really have Casino Baden in its grip from 7-14 October when "The Big Double" comes to town. Following on from its enormous success in 2005, this year's "Poker Week" begins with a tournament from the European Poker Tour (EPT), Europe's leading Poker series with prize money of up to two million euro. Around 500 Poker pros are expected to battle it out at the Texas Hold'Em tables in the EPT tournament, while the classic Seven Card Stud game awaits players in the European Poker Championship which starts on 11 October.

The Poker EM in Casino Baden is surrounded by just as much tradition as the Seven Card Stud game itself. This will be the 17th time the tournament with a pot of around half a million euro to be played for has been held here, and the addition of the EPT tournament brings further excitement to a week of already top-notch Poker.
