Lucerne/Vienna, 16.03.2006 --- For the second time in three years, Grand Casino Luzern has been awarded the prestigious "Casino of the Year" prize by the business guide to Switzerland, the official English language magazine of the Swiss Business Development Agency.

The prize is awarded annually among all casinos in Switzerland, with casinos judged in the following five categories: turnover; building, interior design and location; competence and friendliness of employees; innovation in gaming; non-gaming entertainment and gastronomy. Each year, the judges focus on one particular aspect. This year, Grand Casino Luzern's innovations on the gaming floor, interior refurbishments and excellent restaurant and catering services all clearly won the judges approval.

Werner Resch, Member of the Board of the business guide to switzerland, presented the "Grand Prix du Prestige" for "Casino of the Year" on behalf of the magazine to Wolfgang Bliem, CEO of Grand Casino Luzern.
