HISTORY

The origins of the Casinos Austria Group date back to 1934, when the first casinos were opened in Austria. The parent company, Casinos Austria AG, owns and manages the 12 Austrian casinos, and the Casinos Austria Group has since expanded far beyond its national roots to become one of the leading players in the global casino, gaming and entertainment industries.

Casinos Austria International, the Group's international subsidiary, was founded in 1977 to consolidate its international activities under one roof. Over the course of our 34-year history, Casinos Austria International has successfully realized over 215 casino, gaming and entertainment projects in more than 35 countries and on board 90 cruise ships.
